Balanced Morning Protein Shake

Hello sunshines!

Today I wanted to share with you my daily morning protein shake! I recently created this recipe, and have become completely obsessed with it! It keeps me fueled until lunchtime, and now I can’t go a morning without it! I’m not a huge fan of breakfast unless it’s a chocolate croissant, which is completely devoid of protein! In order to keep my diet balanced, I came up with the perfect protein shake to fulfill all of my morning deficiencies, and then some! Try it out and let me know what you think!


8 oz. Almond Milk

1 Medjool date


You can find these at Whole Foods in the fresh fruit and vegetables section

1 Frozen banana

1 Tablespoon of Almond Butter


This is my go-to, my absolute FAVORITE almond butter

1 Scoop of Smooth Chocolate Organic Plant Protein


I highly recommend this one, as it is packed with nutrition and the smoothest formula of all that I have tried!

*Can substitute for Vanilla Organic Plant Protein if preferred*

2 Tablespoons of Raw Organic Hemp Hearts


These are an excellent source of essential fatty acids, and easily digestible!

Β *Can substitute for chia seeds if you prefer*

2 Teaspoons of Matcha Green Tea

Blend well


It is best when you use a high powered blender, such as a Ninja or a Vitamix, but others work fine too!Β 


PS. Feel free to change it up as you wish!! We all have different preferences and palates, so don’t be shy when trying different things!
